Voltage and phase stabilizing circuit


For the stable RF acceleration voltage seen by the circulating electron beam, voltage and phase of cavities should be stabilized. Voltage and phase stabilizing circuits are installed at each RF station.
 
 
 


The signal of the cavity pickups are summed up using RF power combiner keeping their vector information. The summed up signal is divided into two signals; one is detected and is used for voltage stabilizing circuit, and the other is used for phase detection.

The attenuation of the cable is  adjusted to be same value using a step attenuator whose resolution was 0.1dB. The phase delay of the cable is adjusted to the designed value determined by the distance between each cavity.
